My love affair with real estate started in 2008, when I started working as a Homeownership Counselor with a HUD-certified homeownership counseling agency. I obtained certifications in Pre-Purchase Homeownership Counseling and Education, as well as Foreclosure Intervention Counseling. In my role as a neutral third party advisor, I helped hundreds of people, in a wide variety of personal circumstances, to thoughtfully purchase their first home, build meaningful assets, and advance their lives.
Now, I help professionals, nonprofit and government employees, and entrepreneurs meet their personal goals using real estate. In the meantime, I worked with nonprofits and mission-based businesses as a consultant, wrote a few books, and dabbled in public policy. I hold a Master of Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon, and a Certified Associate in Project Management from Project Management Institute.
I think home ownership and community development through real estate empowers people to live their best lives, and makes neighborhoods wonderful.
My eclectic background, commitment to this region (I’m a native, and apparently, a lifer), and delight in working with people to achieve their dreams and goals make me well-suited to help you get where you want to go.
